New Semester! New Units!
Parents and Guardians,
The school year is half way over! The first semester flew by as the 2nd and 3rd Graders prepared for their "BUGZ" program this fall and the Kindergarten and 1st Graders prepared their "Jingle all the Way" program at Christmas time. Students in Grades 3-5 learned about the National Anthem and the how to sing the proper words and stand in the right way. We even tested out their skills at the Veteran's Day program in November. I am looking forward to a "rockin'" good time in February when the 4th grade has their program and thinking already to May when we celebrate our 5th graders as they leave the world of elementary and move to the middle school.
I hope that your kids are coming home and telling you what neat things we are talking about in the Music Room. It is my hope that I can share my love of music with each student in some way - whether it's their favorite country singer or the fact that they hear Beethoven in commercials and on TV shows. Some are even discovering that they love to sing and learn new songs.
If you have any questions or concerns about things happening in the Music Room, please feel free to contact me using the above link or my email: [email protected].
Here's to a great 2nd Semester!!
